Studio portrait of a Jewish merchant from Turobin, Poland.

Pictured is Pesach Dimant, an uncle of Izak Lachter.
Pesach Dimant was a prosperous lumber merchant before the war. Following the German invasion of Turobin in September 1939, Pesach and his younger brother were summoned to appear at their wood mill. They both were shot as soon as they arrived.
