A priest and several nuns pose with a group of children at a Franciscan convent school in Lomna, Poland where Jewish children were hidden during the German occupation.

Among those pictured are Tereska, a Jewish girl who remained at the convent after the liberation when no one came to claim her (front row, center); Sister Blanka Pigowska (second row from the front, far right); Sister Tekla Budnowska (second row from the front, thrid from the right);and Sister Zofia Olszewska (second row from the front, far left).
