SA troops raid the Osenwaldschule outside of Heidelberg after Nazi students alerted them that Erich Steinitz, a Jewish pacifist, taught chemistry in the school.
Erich Steinitz was a cousin of Ursula Steinitz Tenenbaum. He was arrested during the March raid. After being detained for several days, he was released and then immigrated to Palestine.
