Photograph | Photograph Number: 46950

Decree of the Main Command of the city of Belgrade issued in German and Serbo-Croatian regarding the setting of a curfew for Jews living in the city.

The document states that since the current urbanization plan is being endangered by criminal activity, it is necessary to establish a curfew for Jews in the city. The curfew begins at 8 pm on Monday through Friday, and at 7 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Jewish-owned businesses must be closed as of the time of the curfew. If the Jews do not comply, further restrictions will be established.
