Document certifying that the Jew, Harry Israel Kastan (b. March 20, 1891), had been wounded during military service in World War I, and has documented his injury with a letter from the main food office dated March 22, 1941.

The document was issued by the Reichsvereinigung der Juden in Deutschland, Abteilung Fuersorge/Kriegsopfer [National Association of Jews in Germany, Department of Social Services/War Victims], previously the Reichsbund juedischer Frontsoldaten [Association of German Jewish War Veterans]. It also states that also states that Kastan does not receive a pension.
