    Event History
    The meeting of the World Jewish Congress in July 1948 in Montreux, Switzerland, was the second plenary assembly with delegates from 34 countries including Eastern Europe. It was the first post-war meeting of Congress's highest authority, took account of activities during and after the Second Wolrd War and laid down a program for future work.
