Photograph | Photograph Number: 29506

Scrapbook page with a letter from a boy in Theresienstadt to his mother looking to make amends for having taken her food.

The letter reads:
"My Dear Mother,
At the holiday of Simchas Torah, I am returning what I took from you. I wanted to give it back to you the night before because you were so unhappy that you didn't even have sugar or margarine so I felt sorry for you. I am sending you one part of the present and I'll give you the second part, which is less important, on the evening of Simchas Torah.

Your son,
Misa"

The hearts are decorated with his name and his mother's name.
