Enfeebled survivors of the Woebbelin concentration camp await transportation to hospitals for medical attention.
Original Caption: "The capture of the town of Wobbelin, Germany, by troops of the 82nd Airborne Division, US Ninth Army, exposed the atrocities perpetrated in the concentration camp there. Here, former prisoners of the camp wait to be taken by truck to hospitals for medical attention. One of them is so weak from malnutrition that he can only stand by making use of his fellow victims as a prop."
