Unauthorized Salvadoran citizenship certificate issued to Max Ehrlich (b. August 13, 1899 in Kolbuszow), his wife Estelle (nee Metzger) Ehrlich (b. September 15, 1901 in Strasbourg) and children Jacques (b. September 28, 1931 in Strasbourg) and Daniel (b. May 5, 1935 in Strasbourg) by George Mandel-Mantello, First Secretary of the Salvadoran Consulate in Switzerland, and sent to their residence in Marseille.

The entire family found refuge in Switzerland. Max and Estelle Ehrlich arrived on May 13 1944, and their sons arrived on February 28, 1944.
