Unauthorized Salvadoran citizenship certificate issued to Rabbi Danielis Movsovicius and his wife Chaja Movsovicius by George Mandel-Mantello, First Secretary of the Salvadoran Consulate in Switzerland and sent to them in Kelme.

Rabbi Daniel Movsovicius was a famous rabbi and head of the rabbinical college of Kelme in Lithuania . He was one of the leaders of the "Musar" movement, which promoted ethical and spiritual discipline in the practice of Judaism. This Salvadoran citizenship certificate was issued too late to save him. He and his students were executed by the Nazis on July 29, 1941 outside of Kelme.
