Unauthorized Salvadoran citizenship certificate made out to Armin Mayer (b. September 7, 1897 in Budapest), his wife Lili (nee Trebitsch) Mayer (b. June 2, 1902 in Budapest) and their son Peter (b. August 28, 1927) by George Mandel-Mantello, First Secretary of the Salvadoran Consulate in Geneva and sent to them in Budapest.

The Mayer family family learned of the rescue mission through their friend Moszes Fuchs (see worksheet 06637). He was requesting certificates for his family and offered to also ask for one for the Mayer family. The Mayers survived with their certificate. Their son Peter moved to Israel after the war and became a professor of chemistry at Hebrew University.
