Portrait of a British couple from the Channel Islands who were imprisoned for expressing anti-Nazi beliefs.

Original Caption: "Mr. and Mrs. Winifred Green of 'Psycho-Sarchers', St. Peters Port, Guernsey. During the occupation Mr.Winifred Green was waitress in the Royal Hotel, and it was her job to serve the German Officers. On one occasion the Germans after having held a conference gave the usual 'Heil Hitler' salute. Immediately Mrs. Winifred Green retaliated by retorting 'Heil Churchill.' She was clapped into jail for six months imprisonment."
