Josef Buehler is brought in handcuffs to the airport to be flown to Poland for trial as a war criminal.

Original caption reads, "Josef Buehler, deputy to Hans Frank, arrives by truck under guard by Captain Binder and Private Charles F. Sylvia to be turned over to the Polish Government for trial as war criminals. Buehler with two other Ex-Nazi officials, were held at Nurnberg, Germany as witnesses at the International Military Tribunal trials. Seven other defendants were flown from Frankfurt by the AAF Airport to Furth, Nurnberg, and were met by three from Nurnberg, making a total of ten men being turned over by the Americans to the Polish Government to be tried as war criminals." [sic]

The photo is dated 25 May and is credited to photographer PFC Eddie Murphy of the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
