Group portrait of women and girls standing on the steps of what probably is the Liebenau internment camp for foreign nationals.

Liebenau, located on Lake Constance close to Meckenbeuren, was opened in 1940 and operated until 1945. It was used as an assembly point for prisoners who were being considered for exchange.

Pictured on the far right are Rywa Roth with her daughter Anna.
