- Biography
- Andor (later Andrew) Klein was born February 7, 1913, in Hungary to parents Josef and Berth (nee Schererman) Klein. He had five siblings: William (born in Nyirmada), Sandor, Edith, Josef, and an older sister (name unknown). Andor had a store, and William was a baker. William immigrated to the United States in the 1920s, and settled in Cleveland, Ohio. Andor and Edith (later Condon) survived the war. Josef was shot at liberation, and the older sister did not survive.
