- Funerary urns stacked against a wooden fence at Buchenwald.
The urns were supplied by Topf & Sons company of Erfurt, and used by the Nazis to keep up a pretense of proper handling of the remains of victims.
The inscription on the back of the photograph reads, "Jars for Ashes Buchenwald."
