George Kadish photographed the writings on the walls of the prison after liberation. Some of the messages read: "Harry et Felix Klein, May 18,1944"; "Cukerman Chackel Wilno (Vilna) Wegla St. Jan. 29, 1944"; "Lidski Isaak -brothers- revenge...May 10,44"; "Mindelis ... Jan.29,1944; Chackel Sandler May 19, 44".
