Elsa Eisne (the donor's aunt) walks down a street in Prague wearing the Jewish badge.
Elsa, her mother, twin sister Klara, and other relatives were deported to Auschwitz in July 1942. The donor's father, Joseph, was the husband of a German Christian woman, Maria. Joseph and his son, Al, were deported to Theresienstadt and interned there until the camp was liberated by the Red Army on May 9, 1945.
