The original caption reads, "German guard I captured hiding in a latrine. A few minutes after this photo was taken, I was marching the prisoner to an MP truck to be taken away to a POW Interrogation point when one of the 12 survivors sneak-up behind me and the prisoner and sinks a piece of 2x4 in to his head. He was dead before he hit the ground".
