Mr. Karp, a supervisor in the Madritch factory, oversees the unloading of cloth by Jewish prisoners in Plaszow.

The Madritch factory utilized concentration camp labor to produce uniforms for the German army.

Karp was badly injured later when he was attacked by the dogs of camp commandant SS Captain Amon Goeth.
