- File 1: Joseph Ulik to Minna Zakharovaya 1943, Contains 37 letters and postcards dating from 1943, all from Joseph Ulik in Semipalatinsk to Minna Zakharovaya Papish in Tashkent. The letters discuss general daily life in Central Asia and family news. [On Campus Only]
- File 2: Josef Ulik to Minna Zakharovaya Papish and family 1944, Contains 115 postcards and letters dating from 1944, mostly from Josef Ulik (who was travelling around from Semipalatinsk to Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Taskkent, and Alma-Alta during this year) to Minna Zakharovaya Papish and family, all of whom had moved to Kiev. The correspondence mainly concerns pains of separation from family, daily life in Central Asia, general family news, the liberation of Ukraine, and plans for the future. [On Campus Only]
- File 3: Josef Ulik to Minna Zakharovaya Papish and family 1945, Contains 32 postcards and letters dating from 1945, mainly from Josef Ulik in Semipalatinsk to Minna Zakharovaya Papish and family in Kiev. Letters are sent from Semipalatinsk, Zhitomir, Berlin, Novosibirsk, Baku, and Tashkent. There are also items of correspondence from the Verder family and other friends to the Ulik family. Finally, this folder contains one report card for Vera Ulik, who was enrolled in the 9th grade at Kiev’s School Number 78 for Girls. [On Campus Only]
- File 4: To Vera Ulik from family and friends 1946, Contains 29 letters and postcards dating from 1946, mainly written to Vera Ulik from various family and friends living in: Moscow, Kiev, Odessa, Rostov-on-Don, and Hun-Chun (Korea). This folder also contains a poem written by Vera Ulik in January of 1946. Vera had started acting by this time, and some of the letters pertain to her acting career. [On Campus Only]
- File 6: Josef Ulik to Minna Zakharovaya Papish and family 1948, Contains 17 letters and postcards to Minna Zakharovaya Papish and family from Josef Ulik, sent from various cities including: Donetsk (Stalino), Khmelnytskyi (Proskurov), Vinnytsia, and Kiev. All correspondence dates from 1948 and concerns family news. [On Campus Only]
- File 7: Amongst the Ulik-Papish family 1949, Contains approximately 59 letters and postcards, mostly of personal correspondence amongst the Ulik-Papish family. All items of correspondence are dated from 1949. Items of correspondence originate from and are sent to the following cities: St. Petersburg (Leningrad), Kiev, Donetsk (Stalino), Luhansk (Voroshilovgrad), and Mykolaiv (Nikolaev). Many of the letters are from Vera or Josef in Kiev, writing to Minna and Anna, both of whom moved temporarily to St. Petersburg (Leningrad). Correspondence concerns family news and Vera Ulik’s acting career. There is also one newspaper clipping pertaining to a play review as well as one theatre program for the Nikolaev Dramatic Theatre. - File 10: Amongst the Ulik-Papish family 1951, Contains 11 letters and postcards from 1951, and 26 items of correspondence from 1952. - File 11: Amongst the Ulik-Papish family 1953, Contains 48 postcards and letters from 1953, mostly sent amongst the Ulik-Papish family. During this time, Vera was living in Tver (Kalinin) while her mother and sister were settled in Kiev. All of the correspondence of this folder, therefore, is sent from either Kiev or Tver (Kalinin).There are also two play programs from the Kalinin Oblast Dramatic Theatre, in which Vera Ulik is listed amongst the cast. Included are approximately 41 personal letters and postcards and one telegram sent amongst the Ulik-Papish family.
