    Summary
    Videotape testimony of Riva K., who was born in 1918 in Kaunas, Lithuania. She describes a happy childhood; moving to Memel (Klaipėda) with her husband; invasion and occupation by the Soviets; occupation by the Germans in 1941; being sent to the Šiauliai ghetto; work in the leather factory; her husband’s arrest and murder; the deportation of her three daughters to Auschwitz (they were killed there); deportation to Landsberg concentration camp; terrible conditions there; work in the kitchen; death march to Dachau; and liberation. She recounts testifying at the Dachau trial; living in Munich; receiving care at St. Ottilien displaced persons camp; meeting and marrying her second husband; and moving to the United States with her new family. Mrs. K discusses feeling guilt for living when the rest of her family was killed; and sharing wartime experience with others, including her children. She shows photographs.
