    (Munich 529) War Crimes Trials - Subsequent Trial Proceedings, Case 1 (Medical Case), Nuremberg, Germany. Courtroom, dock. MS, defendant Oskar Schroeder is interrogated by his defense counsel, Dr. Rudolf Merkel.

    "Marshal Sir Sholto Douglas in Hamburg, Germany" SEQ: Douglas arrives in Hamburg, Germany to attend a session of the Zones Advisory Board. He greets the members of the Zones Advisory Board and in his speech says that his appointment coincides with the beginning of a new phase of British policy regarding the British Zone.
    "The Scholl Case." The first session of the Munich Spruchkammer. Jakob Schmidt is sentenced for having denounced the students, Hans and Sophie Scholl, to the Gestapo.
    "Mainz University and Gutenberg Museum Restored." Laborers working on the damaged University building. Gen. Pierre Koenig, Supreme Commander of the French Occupation Army, presides at the reopening. EXT, Gutenberg Museum. INTs showing samples of Gutenberg's work. Two men at the press on which the first Bible was printed.
