    Description
    Can 18, 100 feet. Meeting of the Sudeten-Deutsche party at Eger (Cheb in Czech), frontier town between Germany and Czechoslovakia. This meeting was particularly jubilant because two of the three German minority parties united and agreed to work under the leadership of Konrad Henlein. VS, overflow of the meeting who were unable to get into the hall. Listening to the speakers in the hall by means of loudspeakers outside in the cold. Overflow estimated at 5,000. Can 19. 100 feet. VS, INT of the meeting, showing the audience estimated at 15,000. Chief speaker was Ernst Kundt, leader of the Parliamentary faction of the Sudeten Party in the Lower House. Can 20. 100 feet. More shots of the interior of the hall with CU of picture of Konrad Henlein prominently displayed behind the main speaker's chair. The banner are the flags of the Sudeten-Deutsche Party, each small section has its own flag which was personally presented to Henlein. The flag is forbidden to be processed through the streets; as are uniforms. Flag bearers dress alike, white shirt, breeches and boots; they stand around the speakers' platform. Can 21. 100 feet. Two Czech officials attend the meetings, take notes for the government, have power to stop the meeting. They sit in uniform, immediately at the speaker's left. [Many dark interior shots]

EXT Customs House, officials and Sudeten boys taken back to the police station for further examination, after they find a letter from Germany telling them to come over and join the Sudeten Legion, reputedly 200M strong. A German hiker arrives from Germany and enters Customs House. Sudeten returns to Police station with officers. Two LS of Sudeten countryside, with German style houses. Can 42. 100 feet. LS of Sudeten countryside with man passing along the road. Shot of Sudeten Deutsche Party flag hanging along side of Czech flag (the party flag was not to be flown alone). VS, main street of Vejprty, also known as Weipert, the town is half German/half Czech, the river divides the countries. Czech customs officials with rifles walking under the flags. German frontier city - Weipert. People passing the bridge, Czech arms in the FG, German banner in the BG reads: "One race, one nation, one leader". German customs officials on the other side of the bridge. Two shots of S-D Party and Czech flags. Can 33 and 38. Shot of car passing zig zag barrier on road near frontier at Bozi Dar. Can 39. 100 feet. Scenes made at Bozi Dar frontier station, the highest point in Bohemia. Two German (Sudeten) boys en route to Germany on bicycles being interrogated by Czech customs officials at the barrier. CU, Sudeten boy. CU, Czech customs officer. Shot of barrier being raised, car passing.
