    Source of acquisition is the Consistoire Central Israélite de Belgique, Brussels. Some records were taken by the Nazis and captured from them by the Soviets; the Russian Federation subsequently restituted some of them. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in November 2009.
