Overview

Description: Contains records of the St. Petersburg City Evacuation Commission related to the evacuation of the Soviet civilian. It includes various lists of the evacuees, correspondence of local authorities regarding evacuation, reports and plans for evacuation etc. Also contains small collection of correspondence files of the representative of the Jewish Distribution Committee ( Joint) in Petrograd ( 1923-1925) related to the assistance provided by this organization to Jewish communities in Moscow, Kiev, Odessa etc.
