    Guta Wickens (née Birman), born on December 24, 1920, discusses her childhood in Wloclawek, Poland; being deported with her family to the Lodz ghetto and her experiences there; being deported to Auschwitz; her subsequent transfers with her sister to another work camp and then to Bergen-Belsen; the conditions in the camps; being liberated by the British Army; her marriage to a British soldier, Leslie Wickens; their life after the war in England; their immigration to the United States; her life in the US; and the effects of her Holocaust experiences.
