    John M. Boykin wrote the letter to Blanche Stark on Apr. 20, 1945. Andrea Stark Ratner, daughter of Blanche Stark, obtained the letter after her mother's death. Ratner donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives in Aug. 1997.
