- Source of acquisition is the Żydowski Instytut Historyczny im. Emanuela Ringelbluma (ŻIH), Sygn. 212. The Board of Jewish Population Delegation (Judenrat) in Będzin, Poland, created the records from 1940 to 1943. ŻIH acquired the documents after World War II. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection from the Żydowski Instytut Historyczny via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in 2007.
