Ottilie Metzger-Lattermann was an opera singer with the Dresden State Opera and the German Opera Company. In 1902 she married the novelist Clemens Froitzheim, and in 1910 her second marriage was to the baritone Theodor Lattermann. She was killed at Auschwitz in 1943.
