    Interview Summary
    Adam (Abram) Leczycki, born August 16, 1926 in Łódź, Poland, describes living with his family in a Jewish neighborhood in Łódź that later became the ghetto during WWII; living in the ghetto until it was liquidated in August 1944; being taken to Auschwitz; being transferred to Sachsenhausen and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps; being liberated by the British Army; returning to Poland; and immigrating to Israel in 1956 and then the United States.
