    Henry Goldstein, born on September 9, 1924 in Sosnowiec, Poland, discusses pre-war life in Poland; antisemitism; working in Sosnowiec and smuggling into non-Jewish areas after the German invasion in 1939; his deportation to forced labor; details of several labor and concentration camps, including Tarnowskie Góry (Tarnovitz) and Markstadt labor camp; working for Schneider company; building barracks; a German SS guard permitting him to get food from Czech workers; transferring to Gross-Rosen concentration camp for 5 to 6 months; being sent to Buchenwald concentration camp; death march toward Sigmaringen, Germany; liberation on April 21, 1945; going to Munich, Germany; living in Feldafing; going to Frankfurt to look for relatives; and immigrating to the United States in 1949 with help from the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
