    Interview Summary
    Greta "Kay" Kadden, born in the Alsace region of Germany, discusses her escape with her family from Nazi Germany in 1937 and arrival in the United States. In the second file, she reads a letter from her cousin Anna Bluthe (née Becker) who writes about conditions in Germany in 1939 in the months following Kristallnacht.
