    Description
    Photograph album belonging to an unidentified German soldier chronicling his movements from 1938-circa 1941. The album depicts the soldier’s experiences in Germany first with the Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service; RAD) in Alsbach, Germany and the Wehrmacht 35th Infantry Division in 1938, and then with the Krankentransport-Abteilung 552 (medical transport personnel) from 1940-circa 1941. The album is annotated in German, and includes wartime depictions of people and events in Prague, Mulhouse, France, and the Polish cities and towns of Kamińsk, Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź (referred to as Litzmannstadt), and Zakopane. Includes some descriptions of Polish Jews in Warsaw and Łódź.
