The trial of Laszlo V. Bardossy was the first postwar trial of a suspected Hungarian war criminal to be carried out by the People's Tribunal in the Academy of Music in Budapest.  Bardossy was charged as former prime minister with illegally involving Hungary in war against the Soviet Union and with responsibility for allowing the massacre of Jews at Kamenets-Podolsk in July 1941.  Bardossy's trial was convened on October 29, 1945 and he was convicted on November 3, 1945.  His execution was carried out on January 10, 1946.

    The trial of Laszlo V. Bardossy was the first postwar trial of a suspected Hungarian war criminal to be carried out by the People's Tribunal in the Academy of Music in Budapest.
