Discusses the life and work of Elie Wiesel, winner of the 1986 Nobel Peace Prize, who survived the Holocaust and dedicated his life to ensure that the murder of six million Jews would never be forgotten, and that other human beings would never be subjected to genocidal homicide. Wiesel's Nobel acceptance speech is included as well as teacher resources designed to help students interpret events in history.
