One of the most notorious Nazi war criminals still alive, Brunner has been living in Syria since 1959. France intends to try him in absentia for crimes against humanity in the fall of 2000. Includes an extensive interview with Gunther Deshner, the last journalist to have questioned Brunner at his home in Damascus. Also includes an extensive interview with Nazi hunter Serge Klarsfeld.
