    Overview

    Summary
This thesis is an exploratory study of the transition away from traditional teaching methods towards a constructivist teaching style. I will use a variety of adolescent literature to teach the Holocaust to middle school students and incorporate different constructivist activities. I will explain twelve constructivist principles that are characteristic of the constructivist teacher/classroom and reflect on my journey away from traditional teaching into constructivist teaching.
