Overview
- Summary
- The purpose of this thesis was an attempt to partially answer a question historians have debated for years, were the Populists of the 1890's anti-Semitic. Through an examination of both the Populist leadership's published writings and the Populist's letters in Kansas newspapers, it can be clearly demonstrated that the Populists in Kansas were anti-Semitic in their writings.
