Guide contains introduction in English and index to newspaper catalog in Russian.
Reproduces two card catalogs of the former library of the Russkiĭ zagranichnyĭ istoricheskiĭ arkhiv (RZIA), referred to in the United States as the "Prague Archive." The main catalog, covering books, periodicals and ephemera, consists of approximately 80,000 handwritten cards. The catalog to newspapers consists of approximately 15,000 oversized handwritten cards with detailed holdings statements.
