    Summary
    Deals with the contribution of Polish Jews to musical life in all its aspects in Poland and outside of Poland. Describes the lives of Jewish composers, singers, pianists, and other artists during the 19th-20th centuries. Ch. 11 (p. 156-179) deals with musical activities in the ghettos and concentration camps.
