Wally Zoodsma, widow of Jacob Zoodsma, and Mariechen and Luise Haseloh talk about the events following World War II that led to a special friendship between the two families. At liberation, Zoodsma, a Dutchman interned in the Ahlem concentration camp was seriously weakened by diphtheria. The Haseloh family cared for him for five months until he was able to return to the Netherlands.
