    Story of two Salvadoran diplomats in Switzerland--Consul General José Arturo Castellanos and his First Secretary, a Romanian Jew named George Mandel-Mantello--who facilitated one of the most successful rescue operations of World War II by issuing certificates of Salvadoran citizenship to approximately 25,000-30,000 Hungarian and other Central European Jews.
