Overview

Summary: The Pursuer of Peace Pilgrimage, with a group of Catholics and Jews from the Pittsburgh area, left for Rome on October 31 and returned from Israel November 8, 2010. The pilgrims were led by their spiritual leaders, Bishop David Zubik of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh and Rabbi Aaron Bisno of Rodef Shalom Congregation. The journey included sites in Rome and Israel, special masses and services. A hallmark of the pilgrimage from the beginning was the desire to understand and share knowledge of each other's religious traditions. This DVD is a compilation of the 8-day pilgrimage with the sights, sounds, and conversations that made this pilgrimage a very memorable and spiritual experience. A second DVD contains all images that were taken by many of the pilgrims. The images are organized by date and photographer.
