    The "German Sales 1930-1945. Art Works, Art Markets, and Cultural Policy" project initiated by the Getty Research Institute has the goal of making a record of all auction catalogs published in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the years between 1930 and 1945, of digitizing them and making them available online in a research database for the first time ... The project partners are the Art Library of the National Museums in Berlin, that is in possession of the most comprehensive collection of art catalogs in Germany, the Heidelberg University Library with its great experience in digitization projects of this kind and the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles ... The project ... was launched in November 2010 and is expected to be concluded by January 2013.
