Overview

Summary: The first Frankfurt Auschwitz Trial (1963-1965) focused on war crimes committed by the Nazis at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp. This DVD-ROM includes the full 400+ hours of audio-tape transcripts of the trial and statements of over 300 witnesses in 11 different languages, with the final words of the defendants, pleadings of the prosecutor, defense counsel and representation as well as co-plaintiffs and the oral verdict. Also contains a critical apparatus that supplements the documentation of the 183 trial days and a wealth of additional materials which tell the pre-and post-history of the process. In addition, the DVD contains more than 500 images, mostly photos, stock plans and maps.
