    A collection of portraits of Holocaust victims by 21 Jewish artists created during the Holocaust. The portraits are displayed thematically and grouped according to specific categories (commissioined portraits, the naturalistic approach, the expressive approach, sketches in caricature), allowing the reader to study the phenomenon in the broader context of Art History, while calling attention to the uniqueness of portraiture during the Holocaust period.
