    Summary
    A visual documentation of the project of Lea Stern to create a knitting pattern that reproduces a handknit sweater from the collection of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Seven-year-old Krystina Chiger (now Kristine Keren) wore the sweater when she lived in hiding in the sewers of Lvov, Poland, from June 1943 to July 1944. Supplement is the knitting pattern.
