Overview
- Summary
- German immigrants living in Paris, Marguerite Feibelman (neé Levy) and her family destroyed everything connecting them to their Jewish identity. After persuading her parents to change their name to Lengel, she forged their identity papers. The new identity allowed them to escape to the Alps where Marguerite joined the French resistance group, the Maquis.
