- Political parties and party systems are important subjects of political systems in most countries of the world. They are an important tool for expressing and defending the interests of various public groups, so studying the history of the formation of political parties and organizations today is a very interesting area of research. The Polish political parties that operated in Western Belarus in 1918-1926 were relatively young political institutions, acting as guarantors of the expression of the views of various social groups, their interests and expectations. At the same time, the study of the history of the formation and activities of Polish political parties and organizations in Western Belarus is highly relevant, as it reveals the specifics of the social and political life of the population of the eastern provinces of the interwar Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
